Elle se transmet majoritairement par l&rsquo;ingestion d&rsquo;eau ou d&rsquo;aliments souill\u00e9s par des mati\u00e8res f\u00e9cales.<br \/>\nLa pr\u00e9caution \u00e0 prendre pour s&rsquo;en pr\u00e9munir est donc principalement <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>de bien se laver les mains,<\/strong> <\/span>en particulier avant la pr\u00e9paration du repas.<br \/>\nLa p\u00e9riode de contagion correspond \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;incubation de la maladie. Comme les sympt\u00f4mes sont absents, le patient ne sait pas qu&rsquo;il est contagieux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;infection par le virus de l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite A d\u00e9bute par une p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;incubation de 2 \u00e0 4 semaines, pendant laquelle le sujet est contagieux sans le savoir. Ensuite<strong>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">dans 90 % des cas, l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite A sera asymptomatique, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire qu&rsquo;elle passera inaper\u00e7ue<\/span> !<\/strong> Chez les 10 % restant, on observera : fi\u00e8vre, douleur au foie, d\u00e9mangeaisons, naus\u00e9es, vomissements, jaunisse ou encore fatigue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans la grande majorit\u00e9 des cas, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>l&rsquo;h\u00e9patite A \u00e9volue spontan\u00e9ment vers la gu\u00e9rison sans s\u00e9quelles<\/strong><\/span>. Aucun traitement n&rsquo;est mis en place et il n&rsquo;en existe aucun de sp\u00e9cifique.
